Like you, I want a state government that works for its people for your benefit, not politicians’ personal agendas or publicity for the next campaign. I’ll actively and consistently seek the input of the people across Senate District 21, and every decision will be made with the goal of improving the lives of Oklahomans.

Priorities

Education

I am committed to protecting public schools that serve as the bedrock of our democracy and the heart of our communities. For our children to thrive, we need to do more for the professionals in every role in our schools – bus drivers to teachers, from paraprofessionals to specialists, counselors and more. As someone who’s worked in public schools and higher education for more than 20 years, I recognize the excellent return on investment of post-secondary opportunities, whether a career tech program or higher education.

Health Care

Oklahoma remains one of the states with the highest uninsured rates. While medicaid expansion certainly helped, our need to close this gap remains. I’ll work for access to the insurance Oklahomans need, and I’ll work to recruit and retain health professionals to provide that care, mental health included.

Access to Opportunities

Oklahomans need fantastic employment opportunities and services that put those opportunities within reach. I’ll stay focused on concrete solutions like addressing our child care and elder care crises, increasing accessibility of veterans’ services, and supporting our small businesses in order to move us forward.
